Will my Huel order be delivered?

Quite simply, yes.

We have all measures in place to ensure you will keep receiving your Huel whether you are a subscriber or a new customer. However, due to the recent circumstances, as like many other food companies we've had a very high demand in orders and this has had a knock on effect on our carriers and fulfilment times.

Will there be delays in my delivery?

Please be assured we are working super hard to get your order out to you as quickly as we can! Please refer to the information provided in the order confirmation and shipping emails you receive when you place an order with us as usual if you'd like to change your delivery preferences such as your shipping address.

Are you going to run out of stock?

We have seen an increased demand for Huel, but don't panic! We are on top of this and planning carefully to provide Huel consistently and reliably.

Is Huel suitable for stockpiling/prepping?

Powdered food is a smart purchase for any time you're stuck at home or moments you're unable to do your shopping. As there's no liquid in Huel Powder, bacteria have trouble surviving, which means that the shelf life is much longer than most other food options. Huel is an excellent purchase in any case as it is affordable, quick, tasty and healthy with a 12 month shelf life.

What's the shelf life of Huel products?

Huel Powder, Gluten-free, Black Edition and Professional

The shelf life of Huel Powder is 12 months if your pouch is unopened and stored in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight. Don’t worry about keeping track, there is a best before date printed on the pouch.

It’s 6 months if your pouch is open. Just reseal and store in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight and it’ll keep for half a year.

Once you’ve prepared your Huel, keep it refrigerated for 24 hours. You can save more time and make up your breakfast the night before, plus it tastes great cold.

If you’re on the go and don’t have a fridge handy, providing the temperature is cool, your prepared Huel can stay fresh for a few hours.

Why does Huel Powder have such a long shelf life?

Huel has such a long shelf life because it is in powdered form. It is completely dry and therefore it is not possible for bacteria to grow in it whilst it is sealed as bacteria need moisture.

Huel Ready-to-drink

The shelf life of unopened bottles of Huel Ready-to-drink is a minimum of 3 months. Don’t worry about keeping track, there’s a best before date printed on the bottle.

Once you’ve opened your bottle, keep it in the fridge and drink within 12 hours.

Will the nutrients in Huel products deteriorate over time?

There is a slight degradation of some of the vitamins and minerals over shelf-life but this is really minor. The amounts stated on the back of the pack take this into account so don't worry!

Huel Bars

The shelf life of unopened Huel Bars is 8 months from production date. This is longer than our previous version and it has been achieved with better quality ingredients and production methods, of course not using any artificial preservatives.

Is Huel the right thing to buy for Coronavirus?

We think it's always a good idea to have healthy, convenient food on hand when you are low on food or time—pandemic or not! Huel is a great option in any case as it is more affordable per meal and more nutritious than a lot of other options that are tailor-made for emergencies.

Are Huel sales increasing?

Yes, we are experiencing high demand at this time with sales exceeding forecasted expectations - we are attributing some of this directly to the virus. It’s worth noting we do not have any concerns around stock levels and we have been working super hard to ensure contingencies are in place to meet unexpected demand.

Are you providing any discounts due to the Coronavirus?

We do not offer any discounts specifically due to the Coronavirus. We do however offer our usual discounts which are bulk, subscription, student and military discounts you can choose from when purchasing with us.
