Do you like to live life dangerously? Do you put the ‘mental’ in ‘experimental’? Do you want to get more creative with your Huel combos? Look no further.
We reckon Huel tastes great as it is, but there’s no harm in mixing things up from time to time – we’ve put together a few helpful hacks designed to take your Huel game to another level.
The most basic Huel hack is to simply add fresh fruit and other natural ingredients. Instant deliciousness can come in many forms, and some of our favourite combos include:
For best results, prepare all of these using a blender.
Love Huel Hot & Savoury Korma but want something with a little more heat? Love Madras but fancy something a little less spicy? Meet in the middle and combine the two!
Simply combine one scoop of each and add a dollop of raita on top with some fresh coriander for the perfect finishing touch.
Take your Huel Hot & Savoury to another level with the help of some natural toppings.

Mornings suck. Huel blended with coffee doesn’t. Start your day right by adding coffee to your shake - you can do this in a couple of different ways.
For a Huel Dalgona Coffee (pictured above), you’ll need Huel V3.0 Vanilla Powder, instant coffee, sugar, water, and/or your milk of choice. Visit the Huel Instagram for the full method.
Too hot for Huel? No such thing… Blend together two scoops of Huel Black Edition Coffee Caramel with ice and a shot of espresso for a super-cool Huel Frappé!
If you’re not into coffee, try this peanut butter milkshake instead! All you need is 1.5 scoops of Vanilla Black Edition Huel, 1-2 tbsp of smooth peanut butter, some milk, and a handful of ice. Get the method here.
Blueberry pancakes made with Huel. What more can we say?
Ingredients:
- Makes about seven pancakes
- 3 scoops Vanilla Huel Powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 300ml dairy free milk
- (optional) 1/2 tsp mixed spice
- (optional) 60g blueberries
- (optional) juice and zest of 1/2 lemon
Method:
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Pour in about half the milk and mix well.
- Add remaining milk slowly, mixing until smooth.
- Spoon into a lightly oiled pan and cook until the top edges of the pancake are beginning to look drier than the middle, then flip over and cook on the other side.
Perfect for pancake day (and every other day).
The golden rule when it comes to preparing Huel is to keep it chilled – this doesn’t, however, mean you need to pop it in the fridge every time you make it. Simply keep a bottle water in the fridge, or use just milk (great if you like your Huel on the creamier side)
An ice-cold combination we just can’t get enough of:
Just smash it all up in a blender and you’re good to go!
Behold, the Huel and Nutella milkshake!

Method:
- Mix the ingredients together in a blender until completely smooth
- Pour the milkshake into a glass and dust with cocoa powder (or some chocolate shavings - no one’s judging here)
